The Malle Trials
The Malle Trials was a collaborative festival between the Bike Shed and Malle London, celebrating the thrill of adventure and motorcycling. I was tasked with designing the main poster and developing the branding for Malle’s shorter off-road sprint races, which offered a rugged, rough-and-ready alternative to the traditional track races hosted by the Bike Shed. The branding captured the raw energy and rebellious spirit of the event, emphasising the grit and excitement of off-road racing. Through bold visuals and a cohesive aesthetic, the designs successfully conveyed the unique character of the Malle Trials, resonating with enthusiasts and participants alike.

The poster design
The poster design focuses on the essence of the uphill climb, featuring two riders as it’s central element to embody the energy and spirit of the Malle Trials. Utilising a simple yet striking colour palette, the design captures the raw excitementof the event. The three-meter-high poster proved to be a standout success, serving as a central meeting point for attendees and a visual anchor for the festival. Additionally, the accompanying T-shirts, inspired by the poster design, sold out during the festival and continue to perform strongly on the Malle website, further solidifying the branding’s impact and popularity.
Silk Scarves
One of my first projects at Malle London was to design a series of luxury silk scarves tailored for motorbike riders, combining elegance with practicality. We chose geometric patterns paired with monochromatic colour schemes to create designs that were both timeless and versatile.
These clean, classic patterns allowed the scarves to be reversible, offering a dual aesthetic that appealed to riders seeking a refined yet functional accessory.

The collection featured multiple colour and pattern variations. While none of the designs were explicitly gendered, certain patterns and colour ways naturally leaned toward either a more masculine or feminine feel, broadening their appeal to a diverse audience. During the pandemic, these silk scarves were thoughtfully adapted into face masks, further extending their utility while maintaining the signature Malle London aesthetic. This project not only highlighted the brand’s commitment to quality and innovation but also demonstrated its ability to adapt to the needs of its audience.
